BMI Index Results

BMI over 30 - indicates an unhealthy condition, obesity, if your BMI in excess of 30 are at an extreme risk for diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, strokes, high blood pressure gall bladder disease, etc. Again, if your BMI in this range you should consider the use of slimming pills. 

BMI between 26 and 30 - if you are in this range are considered overweight and should find ways to lose weight through diet and exercise. You have an increased risk for a variety of diseases and should lose weight. 

BMI between 24 and 25 - this is still considered an acceptable range, and is associated good health, as well, as a decreased incidence of disease.

BMI between 20 and 23 - this indicates the ideal BMI, healthy amount of body fat, which is associated with the lowest incidence of disease. Coincidentally, a BMI between 20 and 22 is what most individuals perceive to be the most aesthetically attractive.

BMI below 20 - this indicates a lean BMI, low amount of body fat. If you are an athlete, this may be desirable, however, If you are not an athlete, a lean BMI can indicate that your weight may be too low which may lower your immunity to disease. If your BMI is in this range you should consider gaining weight.
